Rachel is an Account Executive at B|K Public Affairs and offers expertise in issue advocacy campaigns, alliance development, media relations, grassroots and grasstops mobilizing and public relations. Rachel has worked with a wide range of clients including the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA), the American Diabetes Association, Phillip Morris International, American Municipal Power (AMP), the Association of Equipment Manufacturers, the Consumer Healthcare Products Association, John Jones GM City, Honeywell, and Pfizer.

With a background in economics and politics, Rachel is knowledgeable on a wide range of policy issues both on a national and local level. Rachel specializes in issue advocacy campaigning and  forming alliances between clients and advocacy organizations who share a stake in the same issues. Rachel is an expert in creating non-traditional partnerships between corporate and non-profit organizations.

Before joining B|K Public Affairs, Rachel was promoted from an intern to an account coordinator at Peritus where she worked on local and national issue advocacy campaigns, media relations and monitoring, political campaigns and event planning. As the Public Affairs intern for the March of Dimes Louisville, Rachel assisted in coordinating their annual Lobby Day at the Capital, wrote entries for their newsletter and assisted them with event planning including their largest fundraiser, the March of Dimes March for Babies. While studying at Bellarmine University Rachel served as the President of the Political Science Club for two years and served on the Executive Board of Student Government her senior year.

Rachel graduated cum laude from Bellarmine University.

Civic Involvement

Rachel serves at the Step Out Walk PR Chair for the Louisville Chapter of the American Diabetes Association. She also volunteers for the March of Dimes Louisville.
